Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to you!

We made these fun labels to hang onto a bottle of wine or champagne at our last Stamp Club.
This one was made by Rhonda - she had fun making the different numbers and changing everything up. In the bottom one Barbara used the snowflake embossing folder along one edge of the silver foil cardstock, I love how this turned out! We used the frosted embellishments as charms to hang around the neck of the bottle. Too cute!

You have now entered... the Twilight Zone!

Have you ever made a Zoetrope card? They are so..... cool! You pull the string and it spins, kind of like in those old movies when you're going back in time or to another space/time dimension!

We tackled this at Master class this week, and do you need to be the kind of person who will enjoy a fiddly design. Not really difficult but lots of steps and you have to pay attention to how to put it together or it doesn't work. Totally worth it though when it's done!

Would you like to learn how? Let me know and I'll post some directions...

I hope you're having a wonderful week - Brenda

Word Play Valentine

We made this card at our recent card class - We were making sympathy and thinking of you cards - originally I just had the silver hearts but when we added the red glimmer heart I thought it would work for a Valentine too... It uses the Honeycomb texture embossing folder and Pool Party core-dinations card stock. I stamped the greeting from the Word Play stamp set in Raspberry Ripple and then cut out the heart using the heart framelits, I love how you can see exactly where the shape will be before you cut!  I used a heart punch to cut out the small hearts - love how it turned out!

Our next class will be all about Easter, get ready for some cute chicks and bunnies! Contact me for more info.

Have a great day! Brenda
